Originally from China, Weiyi arrived to North American as an international – first as a high school student in the US and then as a university student in Canada. Her experience means she understands the challenges faced by international students and has insights for supporting them from her personal experience. Weiyi has also interned as teaching assistant for a post-secondary international student summer program.  She obtained Bachelor’s degree from University of Toronto in Cognitive Science and Psychology and would love to use her passion for youth mental health and wellness in her time at ISGC.
